Middle Ages, Renaissance, Reformation and Epistles!- #ReformationDay Blog Series

*Full disclosure: I did receive a personal copy of this book for private use in exchange for a review. My review is my honest opinion of this product. I am disclosing this information in compliance with the FTC Regulations.

Simply Charlotte Mason is generously giving away one copy of their Middle Ages, Renaissance, Reformation and Epistles family study handbook!!

If you are the type of individual who thrives on a routine but can get overwhelmed with the rigidity of a schedule, you will love this handbook!! However, this still works for the individual who thrives off of a rigid schedule as you could write in your dates!!

In our personal homeschool, we do a lot of subjects together based off of the same Bible Principle being taught. The way Simply Charlotte Mason has the studies structured with a family read aloud and then additional readings for children to expand their learning, fits perfectly with how we operate!! If your homeschool is bent in this direction, too, this may be a perfect fit for you!

This is also a dream for bibliophiles! They have many books listed for reading {some books I have not heard of before}. I also love how the books are already categorized by time period and people in history. This makes it easy peasy for me to teach along the Christian History Timeline and also for organizing our books on our bookshelves!

This giveaway ends on Friday October 25th at 3:00 pm!

  1. We do have a lot of home school mom that would love to get this book. I am entering this contest to add this in my church family so that they can know more about this book and buy them.

On the other note: The twitter does point to Lady Jane Giveaway contest. I will tweet again without using the Rafflecopter giveaway. I will also tweet through Rafflecopter to add point. I also will share this on Facebook as well. I do hope that you can fix it. Thank you! Have a wonderful day!

  3. I am homeschooling my son and we are getting ready to go through Mystery of History 2 which covers the reformation. This would be a great addition for further study! I have studied Martin Luther with our church. We also did the video series Amazing Grace.

  5. I can't say we have read any one particular book. We have watched videos like Amazing Grace and various ones about particular Reformers. I have not seen this guide on the Middle Ages and am so grateful to have "happened" upon your blog while searching for resources for our celebration this year. May the Lord bless you.

    1. We are currently using MFW Rome to the Reformation. Right now, we are nearing the end of the Roman era/fall of Rome.

  8. Oh so many. I'll list several to give people ideas - and stick just to the biographies, not compilations and such. Not everyone in our family as read every one. Luther: Queen of the Reformation, Martin Luther: A Man Who Changed the World, Martin Luther: The Great Reformer. Calvin: Under Calvin's Spell, The Betrayal, John Calvin: Father of Reformed Theology, John Calvin: Genius of Geneva, John Calvin: Man of the Millennium, With Calvin in the Theater of God. OK, out of time, so just these 2 men for now.
