Unexpected Places!- Thursday Quick Tips!

One day in late August, I was having a rough and emotional day. So, I decided to step outside for a few moments for some time alone. I walked over to my garden and this is what I saw...

I was reminded of God's love for me, right there in my garden. How unexpected! Today, try to be aware of special reminders about God's love and grace for you... maybe even in places where you'd least expect it.

Marcy Crabtree, at Ben and Me, is hosting Thursday Quick Tips! Click on the button below to find link ups to other quick tips for today.

Thursday Quick Tips- Dry Paint Faster!

I'm linking up with Marcy Crabtree and her Ben and Me blog for her Thursday Quick Tips!

Art is on my mind! I'm gathering my supplies for today and loading them up in my handy dandy crate. In the process, I'm grabbing my hair dryer. Yes! You read that correctly! Sometimes the drying process for water colors or water base acrylics needs a little speeding up, and my hair dryer does the trick! This sure is helpful since we don't have building space to leave the kids' art at to dry over night! *Be sure to check the paints you use to see if heat is something to avoid!

Pit Stop Post Its! ~Thursday Quick Tips Link Up

As time allows, I'll be joining in with Marcy Crabtree's
Thursday Quick Tips at benandme.com.

When we are homeschooling on the go, we sometimes need to take a pit stop to.... go. Do you have a child who is scared of  the quick and loud flush of public toilets with sensitive sensors? I do! So, I pack along some Post It Notes. They are the perfect solution because they are easy to take along in a pocket, stick over the sensor and help my child to use the facility with greater ease!

It's so much easier than trying to help a little one on the toilet and cover the sensor with my hand at the same time! I just have to remember to throw the Post It Note away when finished and be sure to flush the toilet with the little button found on the sensor unit.

Blessings!
