March 2nd is Dr. Seuss Day!
Dr. Seuss is remembered for his contribution to children's literature and for promoting literacy.
What can be learned from The Cat in the Hat? What was he doing in Sally's home without invitation and permission from Sally's mother? Why did he leave the house so sadly? What would your children tell you if this happened to them?
Today, we did a mini-literature study about The Cat in the Hat and watched the Horton Hears a Who cartoon.
