I was amazed when I learned that God has a calendar with appointed times (appointments) on it. I had not looked at it that way before. It makes sense though and it is proven throughout all of Scripture (in context). All of history is His Story and is on His timeline. That isn't a new thought to many of us. A timeline pertains to time. Time relates to seconds, minutes, hours, days, weeks, months, years... it leads into a calendar. We all make appointments on our calendars.

Jesus Christ (Yeshua) was born at an appointed time. He was crucified and risen at appointed times. And He will come back when the Father appoints Him to. So, why is it surprising to some of us... or difficult for some us... to accept that celebrations, feasts, Holy days are appointments on God's calendar for us to celebrate to this day? These are annual feasts that are the Lord's. He instituted them. In Leviticus 23 we learn that He calls them His Own. 

There are so many lessons to learn from and during the Lord's Feasts. We have personally found that they do not leave us wanting. 

Is it a salvation issue? No, as we are saved by grace through faith in Jesus Christ. Ephesians 2:8

 

We are invited by our King to celebrate these appointed feasts....

Who will accept His invitation?
